This is the automated service for the blind where they can call up to hear prerecorded newspaper articles by phone.

As we were walking back toward the end of the tour, I got another shot of the Jim Bird, the Master Control Engineer, working. He was concentrating so much on what he was doing I don't know if he even noticed us walking by.

What a job. Talk about a feeling of power!

I wonder how much he watches the shows he is broadcasting...

This shot was just interesting to me. I like the feeling of distance that you get from the arches; the place is quite large, with many rooms.

We got really spread out here, with those that were distracted by what was on the walls taking more time than the others to make our way back to the starting point.

Back to the Beginning, End of tour

Well, here we are, back at the beginning where we started. Everyone seems to have enjoyed the tour.

I would go again, given the chance! It was a lot of fun, and I personally can't get enough of the "behind-the-scenes look" at the magic that is the audiovisual medium so many of us enjoy.

What a treat!

Many thanks to Randy Johnson, Mike McCullers and anyone else at AETN that made this tour possible!
